Cosy house in a quiet location, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and the prettiest little garden. Becky was great, so friendly, kind and helpful, and even let us check in early. Somerton is a lovely town and this part of Somerset is well worth visiting.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was right right the corner from where I was working during my time here and was a great place to stay.
The kitchen amenities were really good and well stocked. We made use of the slow cooker and other things that you don’t always find when staying away from home.
Beds were comfy, shower is powerful and internet connection was great which again can be hit and miss in rural areas sometimes.
Check in was easy and Becky left very clear instructions on how to find it as sat-navs (including mine) can get confused when getting close by.
Overall a really great stay and hopefully we’ll be able to stay again soon!
My friends and a I had a great time at the house. There were no problems and Becky was very helpful throughout the stay.
8 of us needed a peaceful and comfortable base during our trip to Somerset. Becky's place was just what we needed. Check in was simple, the house was lovely and clean and the water pressure for shower was fab! (always a bonus for me). The few very slight niggles we had were quickly overcome as the communication from Becky was 1st class (even after midnight I might add!).
We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay there again if ever in the area.
Oh, if you plan to go very soon, the entrance to the road is blocked at the moment and you have to go around the new estate opposite to get to her place. It's simple enough, but be prepared as sat nav might not help you. 🙂
Becky's house was just perfect for the three of us- OAPs on a cycling holiday. We really appreciated the outdoor shed for the bikes, the pristine new kitchen and bathrooms and the great location only a ten minute walk or 3 min bike ride into the picturesque town center. Lots of easy cycle routes and quiet country lanes all around the town, good pubs for safe meals in the evening and the Buttercross Tea Shop under the trees outside the church, after a day's cycling. Great!
The location is great, walking distance into town with lots of pubs. It is a great base to explore areas of Somerset. As the house sleeps 8, the dining room is in the lounge and is very 'cozy' and comfy seating is limited. The house was very clean and the kitchen was modern and had everything you would need to make meals.
