My friends and a I had a great time at the house. There were no problems and Becky was very helpful throughout the stay.
8 of us needed a peaceful and comfortable base during our trip to Somerset. Becky's place was just what we needed. Check in was simple, the house was lovely and clean and the water pressure for shower was fab! (always a bonus for me). The few very slight niggles we had were quickly overcome as the communication from Becky was 1st class (even after midnight I might add!).
We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay there again if ever in the area.
Oh, if you plan to go very soon, the entrance to the road is blocked at the moment and you have to go around the new estate opposite to get to her place. It's simple enough, but be prepared as sat nav might not help you. 🙂
Becky's house was just perfect for the three of us- OAPs on a cycling holiday. We really appreciated the outdoor shed for the bikes, the pristine new kitchen and bathrooms and the great location only a ten minute walk or 3 min bike ride into the picturesque town center. Lots of easy cycle routes and quiet country lanes all around the town, good pubs for safe meals in the evening and the Buttercross Tea Shop under the trees outside the church, after a day's cycling. Great!
The location is great, walking distance into town with lots of pubs. It is a great base to explore areas of Somerset. As the house sleeps 8, the dining room is in the lounge and is very 'cozy' and comfy seating is limited. The house was very clean and the kitchen was modern and had everything you would need to make meals.
Great value for money. It has everything you need with very modern and clean kitchen and bathroom and a comfy lounge. Spotless!
A lovely family home with a good amount of space, lovely amenities, spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. Becky saved our weekend away following a last minute cancellation of another property on the day we were due to go. We requested the booking at 9.30am and she responded to our booking request in 2 minutes!! Thank you Becky!!
Four adults and three boys under 12, having visited Fleet Air Arm Museum, (well worth a visit) went to Beccy's. We had good communication from Beccy from the moment we booked, including how to avoid road closures near by. Self access was simple. The place was spotless, warm and welcoming. It was very extremely well equipped, very comfortable and there were excellent instructions. Although we didn't meet Becky, she had stated that she was available should we need anything. Local information supplied in the house identified not only places to eat but take-aways, the curry house in Langport was great. We all had a wonderfully comfortable night. A great place especially for a large family.
