Number 5 Bancombe Road is a well proportioned house, with 4 bedrooms;  3 double bedrooms and 1 ground floor twin room. The large sitting room has an extendable dining table, making this a comfortable house sleeping 8.

There is a large modern kitchen.  If you choose not to cook there are three excellent take-aways in Somerton – Tony’s Fish and Chips, A Chinese and an Indian. Local pubs also offer evening meals and are a ten minute walk from the house.

The terrace and mature garden are free for guests use, owner Becky lives in an attached annex and is on hand should you need anything during your stay, but otherwise is respectful of your privacy while you are at Number Five.

We had a wonderful week at Becky's house. She did everything she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible, even buying a BBQ for us. The house is cozy and fully equipped. The beds in one of the rooms are very soft, but they will be replaced this year. The location of the house is also very good. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance, and you can safely park your car on the premises.

This is a great house, very roomy and reasonably priced. The location is great, Somerton is very pretty and you can easy drive to Street, Wells and Glastonbury. My only thing to note is if you have a dog you do have to keep it on the lead in the garden as Beccy has a cat, which comes and goes to her house is an annex in the garden. However, it still feels very private and we were still able to enjoy the garden and sit out.

Exactly as expected, a great deal for the number of bedrooms. Was well equipped from the kitchen to toys/baby gates and cot for our 1yr and 3yr old to stay here. Plenty of room to stay with the kids and grandparents. Becky was very nice throughout

Great location for exploring Somerset.We explored the caves at Wookey Hole, drove in the impressive Cheddar gorge and spent a day at Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Ample space for 7 and a dog. Becky's place has good amenities. She filled the paddling pool for the children to use as the weather was hot and sunny. We'd definitely recommend Becky's house.
